SPRING BREAK!!!

spring break actually turned out the way i planned! first i got all the hard things out the way like going job shopping and softball practices!! after all that hard stuff happened, i got to spend an entire week in my hometown of WHEELING, WEST VIRGINIA with old friends and my amazing crazy family. we go there every other weekend and sometimes every weekend. i feel like i can be myself when im down there and its a peaceful place to be. the mountains, valleys, and just everything about it makes me want to stay there for the rest of my life.....no joke. first things i did was go midnight bowling at the best bowling alley in west Virginia (even though is ugly looking and run down, just brings back so many memories).then the next night we went to this senior party where( giving wheeling its props) there were a lot of cute white boys! hahah but anyways, i had an uber fun time that night! next morning i went shopping for my grandfather  so we had all had food to eat. the rest of the week we just chilled at my grand pappy's house! but on Saturday we went to go see the movie INSIDIOUS and man was i scared! i mean it wasn't a scary movie it was just so unpredictable when people were popping out of places they shouldn't be. and my brother Jamel being the loser he is went to see HALL PASS by himself because he didn't want to see a scary movie and then later that night we went to this old insane asylum on this bike trail and i almost peed myself because it s said to be haunted and it was. man we had things moving and heard creaking noises and voices. it was the worst and best experience of my life! there are other "adventures" we went on but there are to many to tell. all im saying is that no one can top my spring break!! HAPPY MR. POTTER I DID MY BLOG!!

Dear reader,

Determination!  This is the one word that should be in everyone’s vocabulary. Determination is the act of coming to a decision or of fixing or setting a purpose. Everyone has a chance to do something and accomplish, but you can’t accomplish what you want until you are determined to do so. Determine is one of the main themes throughout The Unspoken. The genres I chose were character sketches, a ransom note, a wanted poster, and an obituary. The second genre is going to be an obituary about a friend that the main characters had lost in the beginning of the book. My third genre will be character sketches. My last genre will be the wanted poster about the two antagonists in the story.

The repetend I chose for determination was to use quotes about determination and just to try to build people’s confidence up.

Arnold was 17 years old when he died. His friends and family loved him dearly and just wish they he could be here with them right now. Arnold was a great kid who just enjoyed life and being with his foster family. A few years before he passed, his biological father had passed from being caught in house fire along with his friends’ families to him. He has left behind his mother, father, and five really close friends; Allison, jade, ike, David, and Emma. Arnold had passed from a drowning incident. But his body was found in corn field a couple miles from the river he drowned in. a strange case this but,  after everything he’s gone through he is now at peace in the hands of God.  Arnold will be loved eternally by everyone who was close to him.

this is ur last and final warning or another one of your friends will DIE! like i said 5 years ago, u will die from your worst fear. if u want your other friends to live do exactly as i say!! you will return to the same place you experienced the death of your parents and your deepest fear! you will have to come and fix what i have started and figure out who is tryin to finish my job for me! he has taken my son and KILLED HIM!! i need ur help to find out whoever is doing this to u and me!! i will reward u to money if u furfill my wishes and tasks i ask u to do!! PLEAS AND HURRY!! THE WORLD IS ENDING SOON!!

english today

today in english wasnt that bad. we have been debating basically since last and its really not that bad . i actually enjoy doing this. usually im sitting there bored with nothing to say but today i actually spoke. i usually dont say things because of whta people might say and if someone will laugh but today i didnt care. we were talking about homosexuals and what they have to go through. it sounds like they have it bad. they are rejected by loads upon loads of people and its kind of sad. sometimes families are judgmental about them being the way they are and even random people are to. its a bad exuse to say that you are the you are because you  were raised that way. that is not true because you  and everyone  else is entiled to their own opinion and no one can live your life for you except you.

The Mascot, Night John and The Great Debaters

i actually get points for doing this!!!! night john is about a girl named sarny who lives on a plantation and lives with her mother. She doesn't know how to read nor write. pretty much no one around her can. she talks about life as a slave and the hardships they go through. one day when they doing workin the fields, she saw her owner bring in a new edition to land. his name was John. John had escaped from where ever he worked to the north . while he was there he learned to read and write. after he learned to do these things he returned to teach other slaves to read and write and that is just what Sarny needed. as Sarny started to learn, her mother said it was bad idea and that there was no point. but she was wrong. The story Mascot was about a man named Malcolm X. he grew up in a really rough and hard childhood and was just trying to get out.he always dreamed of being a boxer like the famous Joe Louis, who won heavy weight champion of the world. that's what he wanted to do and be. he also tried to be like his brother Philbert. so he signed up to be in boxing match and was to face off a white boy named Bill Peterson. he lost and was humiliated. so to show was not whimp or scared he decided to do a rematch. He lost again with one punch to the face. thats has to suck. After all this happened to him htings went down hill for him. he was sent to a different school where all the bad kids went. he cleaned himself up and became a muslim and tried to  spread the word about equality and rights but mainly for black people. next is the Great Debaters. this movie is alot similar to the two stories. African Americans trying to fight for their rights by going around to other schools and discussing there thought and thier arguments. they experienced some obsticles in their path to victory that many people couldn't get past. civil disobedience is they did. they didnt use violence to furfill their futures. they did what they thought was the right thing to do in their own minds. they were also thinking about the others who struggle from predjudice and racial things. all three of these powerful peices all have a messege to many people. i think that it is to never give up no mattter how hard things are in your life.
